the new ls430 from lexus is such a copy, lonly difference is the navigation which is
voice controlled, but all else is such a copy, why doesnt mb do something about this
like sue them?

I think Mercedes is copying Lexus who is copying BMW in my opinion.

I don't think they are copying them and MB has nothing to sue about. It's like Apple
suing Compaq for both being colorful. The appearance is completely different in my
opinion.

car designs have always been pretty similar between lexus, mb, bmw and acura, and
all car companies for that matter. Japanese cars especially are very rarely an original
design, but it wouldn't do mb any good to sue since car companies have been
copying ideas off eachother since forever. Besides, they can't sue because they are
made in different countries and there is no international copyright/patent law that
would protect a cars design.
