I say Meguiars.

Their pro line up has so many more options to take care of a wider range of paint imperfections.

Right but the question was regarding the three step programs. Also the Meguirs pro-line up requires machine application.

No it doesn't. I have many of the Meguiars products, and they can be applied by hand.

Besides, a 3 step finish. Cleaner, polish, wax. The pro line offers all those, just with different formulas for different problems.

Maybe because I have an 86 CJ-7... I have to agree with Jeep again on this one.

You need to define what the problem is that you are trying to correct. The more specific you are, the better choice you can make on the solution. Anyone that sells a "Set" and thinks it wil solve anyone problem is trying to sell something other than that product. Further I think that only a fool would "buy in to that systme" (Pun intended).

Define the problem first, check out Meguiar's line... in either case you will still have to determine what works best for you in your situation in your living environment.

I think if the question is which 3 step is better comparing meguiar's retail deep crystal system or mothers 3 step system, mothers is better. If we are going to include meguiars mirror glaze line of products, it is obviously better. The combination of the #9 swirl remover, #7 show car glaze, and the #26 as a topper is very hard to beat. Especially if we are talking about locally available inexpensive products.

Well I have them both. They're both excellent products. I don't think you can wrong with either.
